About BET Honors

The BET Honors were established in 2008 by BET Networks to honor the high achievements of African-American luminaries. This powerful and inspirational event serves to spotlight the achievements of distinguished leaders in the fields of music, education, entertainment, technology and business. Each year, BET Honors is one of the most moving experiences and television specials that Jesse Collins Entertainment produces.  Awe-inspiring tributes to such game-changers as Eric Holder and Maya Angelou are joined with truly memorable appearances by A-Listers such as Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige, Michelle Obama, Ne-Yo, Queen Latifah, and Whitney Houston, to make this show a viewing time that is always well spent. Jesse Collins Entertainment plays an integral role in identifying these prominent African-Americans who have made an impact on our culture and it consistently provides the foundation of a truly captivating show.
