We have our first all-Black, all African-American producing team for the Emmys that’s taking place on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Making history as we celebrate history.

About The Show

The 75th Emmy Awards featured an all-Black executive producer team for the first time. The telecast was delayed four months by the Hollywood strikes that shut down the industry. The ceremony included show-stopping cast reunions and tributes to hit television series spanning seven-plus decades, including The Sopranos, Martin, Cheers, Grey’s Anatomy, Saturday Night Live Weekend Update, All in the Family, Ally McBeal and I Love Lucy. “This is the 75th anniversary of The Emmys, and in our show, we honor seven decades of television that have entertained diverse audiences all across the country and the world. For this reason, it is important that the production team for the show be reflective of that diverse audience so we can properly acknowledge and celebrate everyone.” says Dionne Harmon, President of Jesse Collins Entertainment
