Founder & CEO
Collins is the executive producer known for the hit biopic “The New Edition Story.” This three-part mini-series debuted on BET in January 2017, amassing nearly 30 million viewers and record-breaking ratings.
He also executive produced “The Bobby Brown Story,” picking up from where “The New Edition Story” left off. This mini-series chronicles Bobby Brown’s journey from a troubled ‘80s boy band member to a solo artist, including his headline-grabbing marriage to Whitney Houston. A tale of redemption and personal growth, it premiered on BET in September 2018, becoming the network’s highest-rated non-tentpole program since “The New Edition Story.”
Collins and his team have a track record of producing award-winning unscripted programs like the BET Awards, BET Honors, and more. He’s also been involved in shows like the Grammy Awards, VH1’s “Dear Mama” and “Hip Hop Squares,” HBO’s “Amanda Seales I Be Knowin’,” BET’s “Sunday Best,” and upcoming series like Netflix’s “Rhythm & Flow” and CMT’s “Nashville Squares.”
Collins’ influence extends to the covers of Vibe magazine and features in publications such as Billboard and Ebony magazines.

President
Dionne, a Harvard graduate, launched her career at MTV, casting shows like “Dismissed,” and music videos for artists like Usher and Alicia Keys. She ventured into production, working on projects such as HGTV’s “Designed to Sell” and David LaChapelle’s film “RIZE.” After a stint at Jamie Foxx’s Foxx-King, she joined OWN’s programming and development team before moving to Jesse Collins Entertainment (JCE) in 2012.
At JCE, Dionne played pivotal roles in projects like “The New Edition Story,” “The Bobby Brown Story,” “American Soul,” “Rhythm + Flow,” and comedy specials on HBO and Netflix. She was an executive producer for CBS’s “John Lewis: Celebrating a Hero” and the Netflix series “Bookmarks: Celebrating Black Voices.”
As EVP of content & strategy, Dionne oversees JCE’s unscripted & scripted content and contributes to the company’s growth strategy. She’s a 4-time NAACP Image Award winner, executive member of Women In Film, and serves on the boards of non-profits Minds Matter in Los Angeles and Driving Force Group
